Nearly everyone knows there are numerous translation errors in our Bibles. Some are there by simple mistakes, others are there because it fit into someone's agenda to have them there. These errors cause many people to hold fast to untrue beliefs and cause others to have a hard time believing the Bible is little more than a fictional story book.
When you uncover some of these Scriptural errors and find truth, it is like discovering nuggets of gold! It increases your faith in the Word, and in our creator God.

Age-Old Problem:

This "Age-Old Problem" has plagued man throughout history. As far as the Scriptures are concerned, from the time the original message was written down in one language, then copied multiple times into other languages over the next 2000 years, major changes have occurred in the way we communicate. (This is not even considering the intentional and unintentional changes made in the text.)
Therefore, there are some things we may never fully understand with our present finite minds. But thank God, someday, all will be changed and we will be able to have our questions answered.

You don't need to run out and purchase any of them if you don't want to, thanks to the easy accessibility to the Web. Young mother's have shared with me how very frustrating it is to find children's Bible stories filled with the doctrines of men instead of the Truth of God's Word. So Kingdom Kids came into being out of necessity for the children of Jesus' Kingdom. There are fun activities, memory verses and the telling of Bible Truths (with God's help) in a clear and honest way. Any suggestions for stories or activities are gratefully considered.

Common Sense Studies These shorter studies examine some of the familiar Bible stories of the Old Testament and presents questions as food for thought. We will reveal errors that make these stories difficult to believe and show the simple common sense truths which we uncovered by in-depth studies of the Greek Texts, Lexicons, and Concordances. These studies can be accessed from the drop down menu when you hold the Common Sense Studies Tab down. We will be adding more on a regular basis - so check back often.
Nuggets of Truth Bible Studies These studies examine doctrines that are nothing more than "traditions of men" we are warned about in God's word. We will reveal errors in the Scriptures that have made men turn away from the truth. These studies go more deeply into the Word of God than the Common Sense Studies. Good food for thought, presented in an easy to understand format.

The following video shows Shoshone Falls which is 212 feet tall (higher than Niagara Falls at 167 feet) and apx. 1000 feet wide. It is known as the "Niagara of the West" and is just down the road 5 miles from us, near Twin Falls, Idaho. It is spectacular this year with all the flood waters thundering over them. If you look closely, you will see a four story power building with a red roof and houses in the canyon. There is a great cave at the top of the falls that is fun to explore during the summer when the falls are much tamer. (Photo at top shows Shoshone Falls in August.) A steep road can be found coming down the side of the canyon. This gives you an idea of how big these falls really are. Did you notice the double rainbow? Did you see the bird flying in the mist?
I used this video as an illustration of what it takes to study the Bible. One can enjoy just glancing at it but there are a lot more things to discover and appreciate when one really takes the time to study it.
